Fleece rediscovered
Wool fleece
100% natural
Fleece was invented in the 1970s to imitate wool. Nearly sixty years later, we have taken the opposite path: two pieces made from the wool of sheep raised in the Pyrenees, spun and processed in France. It is as much a story about words as it is about clothing. The French word we use every winter, « polaire », comes from the English “polar fleece”. And “fleece” means the woolly coat of a sheep.

Made from 100 % French virgin wool, our fleece draws its warmth from the heart of the Pyrenees. Its wool comes from sheep raised in France and is processed by Traille©, a French mill specialising in natural wool.

Soft, breathable and naturally temperature-regulating, this fibre helps retain warmth while allowing the body to breathe. An alternative to synthetic fleece that celebrates the qualities of French wool and the craftsmanship of those who work with it.
With or without sleeves
Two ways to wear Pyrenean wool. With its raglan sleeves and zip-up collar, the fleece can be worn open over a t-shirt or zipped all the way up. The sleeveless gilet layers over a shirt or knitwear, adding warmth while leaving the arms free.

Each version has its own details: dark green trims on the ecru fleece; touches of chocolate-brown corduroy, a two-way zip and buttoned side tabs to adjust the fit of the gilet.
Wear, and keep
Wool doesn’t retain odours, needs airing more often than washing, and ages better than it wears out. Two pieces to keep for more than ten years, not just two winters.

One last point, rarely mentioned: a wool fleece does not shed microplastics in the wash. Washing synthetic textiles, by contrast, releases microfibres that end up in wastewater. It’s a real difference.
